This module will take 9 to 35 DC voltage and step down to a constant 5vdc output. The unit can handle up to 5Amps, this does not mean the device will constantly output 5amps. Should you go over 3 amps at the input, we would strongly suggest to add additional cooling fans or heatsinks. Insert VCC in IN+, GND into GND and for the output VOUT goes into OUT and GND is shared with the input ground.

Need to supply your circuit/project with 5VDC but all you have at your disposal is a source between 7V-28VDC? This module without a doubt will help you do just that. This module allows anyone to input up to two stable DC voltage signals in the range of 7VDC -28VDC to in turn output up to two 5VDC signals. No matter the input, the output will always be fixed to 5V as long as the input stays in the specified range. The maximum outputted current can be as high as 2.5A prompting a heat sink requirement.

This module is great for projects that need to regulate different voltage levels. Input any DC voltage signal and configure the board to output stepped down voltage that suits your project’s needs. The input voltage ranges from 4.5 to 24VDC while the output ranges from 1.8 to 17VDC. The maximum current this module can output is capped at 3A with some additional heatsink required. What makes this board stand out is its ability to give its user the option to either adjust the output voltage using the potentiometer or to fix the output to a desired voltage by cutting the trace on the backside of the board to the potentiometer and soldering the pad representing a fixed voltage you desire. (see image for example) The fixed voltage options are: 12V, 9V, 5V, 3.3V, 2.5V and 1.8V.

The S9V11F5 switching step-up/step-down regulator efficiently produces 5 V from input voltages between 2 V and 16 V. (Note: it requires an input voltage of at least 3 V to start, but it can operate down to 2 V after startup.) Its ability to convert both higher and lower input voltages makes it useful for applications where the power supply voltage can vary greatly, as with batteries that start above but discharge below 5 V. The very compact (0.3″ × 0.45″) module has a typical efficiency of over 90% and can supply a typical output current of up to 1.5 A when the input voltage is around 5 V.

This small synchronous switching step-down (or buck) regulator takes an input voltage of up to 38 V and efficiently reduces it to 5 V. The board measures only 0.7″ × 0.7″, but it allows a typical continuous output current of up to 2.5 A. Typical efficiencies of 85% to 95% make this regulator well suited for powering moderate loads like sensors or small motors. High efficiencies are maintained at light loads by dynamically changing the switching frequency, and an optional shutdown pin enables a low-power state with a current draw of a few hundred microamps.
