This module is great for projects that need to regulate different voltage levels. Input any DC voltage signal and configure the board to output stepped down voltage that suits your project’s needs. The input voltage ranges from 4.5 to 24VDC while the output ranges from 1.8 to 17VDC. The maximum current this module can output is capped at 3A with some additional heatsink required. What makes this board stand out is its ability to give its user the option to either adjust the output voltage using the potentiometer or to fix the output to a desired voltage by cutting the trace on the backside of the board to the potentiometer and soldering the pad representing a fixed voltage you desire. (see image for example) The fixed voltage options are: 12V, 9V, 5V, 3.3V, 2.5V and 1.8V.
This PWM controller allows you to control the intensity of LEDs or the speed of any DC motors with a small knob. This module can adjust the PWM duty cycle from 0% to 100%. There’s a 3A fuse and a Power-On LED light directly on the circuit. Do not connect to AC power source.
