Payment Options
1. Visa, Master Card, American Express:
your credit card will be charged only when your order is shipped. ABRA Electronics web site is secured with GeoTrust's SSL certificate, utilizing the highest level of encryption or security possible. This means you can rest assured that communications (e.g. credit card numbers) between your browser and our web server is private and secure when the SSL session is activated. Please click on the GeoTrust Authentic Site Seal which demonstrates our commitment to your security.

2. Please note that all public educational institutions have an automatic open account.

3. Minimum Order:
$50.00 minimum for merchandise, shipping extra.

Claims and Returns
A) No returns without a valid return authorization number (RMA NUMBER) issued by ABRA Electronics Inc.
B) No collect or COD returns.
C) All returns must be within 21 days of the invoice date.
D) All returns must be in the original packaging and in resalable condition.
E) Items returned due to customer error may be subjected to a 20% restocking charge.
F) Special Ordered Items and custom packages are non-returnable.
G) Defective merchandise will be replaced if it is returned within 21 days of receipt and accompanied with a copy of the invoice. This warranty does not apply to items which have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, accident or modification or which have been soldered or altered during assembly. In no event shall our liability exceed the buyer's purchase price.
H) No refunds on shipping charges on returns.

Shipping Options For Continental U.S. Orders:
UPS Ground- Standard UPS ground rates are used. Sorry we only ship ground.
We will contact you for the shipping cost of oversized or heavy boxes or hazardous goods which require special charges.
If you prefer another shipping method or carrier, please call us before checking out.

Canadian Customers:
All orders are shipped from ABRA's Montreal warehouse via Purolator or Canada Post using their standard rates. Please indicate your preference in the Comments section during check out. Otherwise we use the least costly method to your area. For a residential address we recommend Canada Post.
We will contact you before processing the order for the shipping cost of oversized or heavy boxes, hazardous goods or if outside the courrier’s regular zone route which require special charges.

We only ship in Canada and the USA.

United States Sales Tax:
Only New York state residents are required to remit sales tax. ABRA Electronics Inc. is required by law to collect all New York state local taxes. Please remit the appropriate taxes with your orders or send a signed copy of your tax exemption certificate for our files as well as referencing the sales tax exemption numbers when submitting a purchase order.
Visible Loss or Damage:
Any external evidence of loss or damage must be noted on the freight bill or carrier's receipt and signed by the carrier's agent. Failure to do this will result in the carrier refusing to honor the claim.
All claims for shortage or shipment errors must be made WITHIN 10 days after receipt of shipment.
Damaged Shipment:
Merchandise shipped is carefully packed in compliance with carrier requirements. Claims loss or damage in transit must be made with the carrier by customer. All shipments should be unpacked and inspected immediately upon receipt.
Concealed Loss or Damage:
If damage is not discovered until shipment is unpacked, make a request for inspection by the carrier's agent and file claim with the carrier.
Pricing and Product Information.
ABRA makes every effort to provide current and accurate information relating to the Products and prices, but does not guarantee the currency or accuracy of any such information. Information relating to Products is subject to change without notice. Prices are subject to change at any time prior to ABRA's acceptance of your order. In the event we discover a material error in the description or availability of a Product that affects your outstanding order with ABRA, or an error in pricing, we will notify you of the corrected version, and you may choose to accept the corrected version, or cancel the order. All prices are in U.S. dollars.
Errors and Inaccuracies:
The Content may contain typographical errors or other errors or inaccuracies and may not be complete or current. ABRA therefore reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update the Content at any time without prior notice. ABRA does not, however, guarantee that any errors, inaccuracies or omissions will be corrected.
Product Liability:
ABRA's sole obligation for products that prove to be defective within 21 days of purchase will be replacement or refund. ABRA gives no warranty either expressed or implied and specifically disclaims all other warranties, including warranties for merchantability and fitness. In no event shall ABRA's liability exceed the buyer's purchase price nor shall ABRA be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
This warranty does not apply to products which have been subject to misuse (including static discharge), neglect, accident,or modification, or which have been soldered or altered during assembly and are not capable of being tested.
DO NOT USE PRODUCTS SOLD BY ABRA AS CRITICAL COMPONENTS IN LIFE SUPPORT DEVICES OR SYSTEMS. Products sold by ABRA are not authorized for use as critical components in life support devices or systems. A critical component is any component of a life support device or system whose failure to perform can be reasonably expected to cause the failure of the life support device or system, or to affect its safety or effectiveness.
ABRA does not stock or sell any product that meets the performance or documentation requirements as outlined by any Military Qualified Parts List ("QPL"). ABRA does stock and sell product that has been manufactured to Mil Spec, but this in no way indicates that those parts are acceptable or appropriate for use in any military application. Mil Spec is used as an industry-common reference and is not an indication of end use qualification.
Technical Assistance:
ABRA offers its Technical Assistance solely as a convenience to its customers. ABRA does not guarantee that any information or recommendation provided is accurate, complete, or correct, and ABRA shall have no responsibility or liability whatsoever in connection with any information or recommendation provided, or your reliance on such information or recommendation.
