The FT90R is a micro-sized digital servo that has been built by FEETECH specifically for continuous rotation. At 6 V, it has a maximum rotation speed of around 170 RPM (no-load) and can produce up to 21 oz-in (1.5 kg-cm) of torque. The servo can be controlled using a direct connection to a single microcontroller I/O line without any additional electronics, which makes it a great miniature actuator for beginner robotics projects; just throw on a pair of wheels (FS90R-W) and your robot is ready to roll!

The FT5313M is a standard-size digital servo from FEETECH that can deliver over twice the torque of our standard-size servos with plastic gears thanks to its powerful coreless motor and all-metal gear train (if you need even more torque than this, check out the FT5121M, which has identical dimensions to the FT5313M). The output shaft is supported by two ball bearings for reduced friction. The FT5313M works with standard RC servo pulses, providing a running angle of approximately 120° over a servo pulse range of 900 µs to 2100 µs. Many hobby servos can be operated beyond their standard ranges by using a wider pulse range, but please note that in our tests, we were not able to expand the range of the FT5313M significantly beyond 120° (the servo did not respond to pulses below around 800 µs or above around 2100 µs, providing an approximate expanded range of 135°). This servo has a 10″ (25 cm) cable that is terminated with a standard JR-style connector, which is Futaba-compatible.

The FS0307 is a very small 4.4 g analog servo from FEETECH (formerly known as Fitec) that offers position control over an approximate 120° operating angle for servo pulses between 900 µs and 2100 µs. As with most servos, the pulse range can be expanded to achieve an expanded operating angle, but the limits of this are not specified by FEETECH. (In our tests, we were able to get an expanded range of approximately 180° over a pulse range of 650 µs to 2500 µs, but as this is not part of FEETECH’s official specifications, it is possible different units will behave differently in this regard.)
