30mm Piezo Element with Enclosure and Power Cable
Underneath the plastic enclosure sits a 30mm diameter piezo element that is nicely enclosed with mounting holes so you can attach easily to your desired surface. The way Piezo works is by converting vibration to voltage and vise-versa, using a very thin and vibration-sensitive mesh. Meaning that it can be used as a buzzer or it can be used to detect vibrations which cause the piezo to generate analog voltage that a micro controller can read.
