This power module provides three regulated outputs—3.3V, 5V, and an adjustable voltage—using genuine LM2596 regulator chips. A great choice for robotics, microcontroller boards, electronic projects, and competition builds requiring multiple supply voltages from a single DC input.
Features
- Built using LM2596-3.3V, LM2596-5V, and LM2596-ADJ regulators
- High-quality electrolytic capacitors and power inductors for stable output
- Three output channels each protected by a 2A self-resetting fuse
- Power LEDs indicate each output status
- If an LED is off, the fuse has limited current due to overload or short-circuit
- After the fault is cleared, the fuse resets automatically
- Standard DC 5.5mm × 2.1mm barrel input connector
- Ideal for powering MCU boards, servo motors, and sensor modules
Specifications
- Input Voltage: DC 7V–25V (≥1A)
- Output Voltages:
- 3.3V fixed, protected by 2A resettable fuse
- 5V fixed, protected by 2A resettable fuse
- 1.25V to Vin adjustable, protected by 2A resettable fuse
- Module Size: 68 × 44 × 12 mm
- Output pins: Gold-plated and oxidation-resistant
How the Output Protection Works
Each output includes a self-healing polymer fuse. When current exceeds 2A or a short-circuit occurs, the fuse temporarily restricts current and the power LED for that channel turns off. Once the load is corrected and the fuse cools, full output automatically resumes—no replacement parts required.
Typical Uses
- Robotics and smart car competitions
- Laboratory and classroom experiments
- Microcontroller development boards (S08, S12, MPC, DSC, Kinetis, etc.)
