This is a pre-assembled DC Motor designed for students to learn about electromagnetic forces. The open structure resembles the diagram found in many textbooks. The polarity of the magnets can be reversed to change the direction of the rotation. The motor can also be used with a rheostat to observe the change of speed with the change of current.

The Alcohol Burner 4 oz. and Stand produces heat at a rate that is safe and appropriate for the IPS experiments. Solid brass wick covers retard evaporation of the alcohol when not in use. Alcohol not included.
