This is a normally closed switch, when light is present it will allow the input voltage and current to flow through. When light is absent, the unit acts like a resistor slowly increasing up to 20MOhms and upwards to act as a normally open switch. This unit comes in the body of a 5mm led, don’t be fooled as it might look like an LED at first glance. Unit sold individually.
