These 0.36” 4-digit 7-segment LED displays are big enough to see from a distance but not so big that you’d have trouble finding an enclosure for them. These common-cathode displays feature 4x 7-segment digits and one decimal point per digit. The LEDs have a forward current of 30mA. Connect Ground to pin 12,9,8 and 6. Insert 2.5VDC into pins 1 – 5, 7,10,11. See schematic to view pinouts. Pin 1 starts from the left with the first digit.

This is a normally closed switch, when light is present it will allow the input voltage and current to flow through. When light is absent, the unit acts like a resistor slowly increasing up to 20MOhms and upwards to act as a normally open switch. This unit comes in the body of a 5mm led, don’t be fooled as it might look like an LED at first glance. Unit sold individually.

A 1 Meter Strip of awesomeness, that is what we use to describe this product. Unlike our 12V strips that use RF controls and can only drive the entire strip with Red, Green or Blue at a one instance; this product is addressable allowing the user to control each individual pixel. The downside of pixel controllable LEDs are that they run at 5VDC, so you might want to pick up a power supply designed for these strips at 5VDC or DC barreled Jack power supply at 5VDC. Each three pixels draw approximately 60mA on white, so you might want to calculate the total amount of LEDs you have in mind and find a power supply with the sufficient amount of current to supply them.

This is a basic 8x8 LED matrix that lights up in red. You can simply connect 16 pins to a Arduino uno to drive on of these units or use a MAX7219 IC to help drive the leds without using all the available pins on the Arduino microcontroller.

This is a basic 2088RGB 8x8 LED matrix that runs on 3.3v, you can comfortably run this device on your raspberry pi or Arduino using the 3.3v pin. This board can do three colors or mix multiple colors. To simplify life this board comes with 5 female to female headers for wiring with the raspberry pi. Purchasing a male to female header makes it easy to run with Arduino. This board uses four daisy chained 74HC595 shifters. IC U1 controls the RED colors, IC U2 controls the Blue colors, ICU3 controls Green and ICU4 controls the row as common ground. This product might be difficult to work with, as it requires knowledge of how shift registers work, MSB and LSB along with creating arrays. We highly recommend this product for those who are curious and want to challenge themselves in programming.

We've got 2.6mm thickness EL wire, with a clear coat, pre-cut and soldered to a standard quick-connect EL wire. It is made with the latest technology and twice as bright as 'standard' 2.3mm EL - running it at 1.5KHz/90V it emits 150 cd/m^2 or light and a half-life (50% brightness reduction) after 3000 hours of continuous use. Draws about 10mA per meter. The capacitance is about twice that of 'standard' EL, 11 nF/m so if you're using an inverter, it will drive only half as much high brightness wire as standard.
