TB6612 1.2A per channel, Quad/Four Motor Driver Shield for Arduino Microcontrollers
Application:
- Four Motor (Input M1, M2, M3 and M4) driver to drive four motors independently, either forwards or backwards.
- Commonly found in RC Cars, Autonomous Cars and Arduino Cars.
- Dual Stepper Motor (M1+M2 and M3+M4) driver to drive two stepper motors independently.
- Built-In Flyback Diodes to prevent reverse current when stepper/dc motor is hand spun.
- Lower Voltage drop for higher torque via battery operation.
- Dedicated PWM Driver chip (PCA9685) allows motor speed and direction control via I2C.
- Can be used for driving inductive loads such as relays, solenoids and stepper motors that are Bi-Polar.
- Supply external voltage from 5 to 12VDC using the VIN terminal block.
Features:
- Stackable shield for additional sensor shields.
- Green Screw Terminal Blocks for simplicity in fastening Load and Source.
- Mounting holes for adding spacers or standoffs.
- Supplies 1.2A per channel.
- Easy to access reset button.
- Through hole for additional project needs
- I2C controllable motor direction and speeds.
- Designed for 5v-12vdc Motors ONLY.
- Servo controllable headers located next to the reset pushbutton. (Digital pin 9 and 10)
