UL10064-32AWG-BK Black Stranded Micro Litz Wire, 32 AWG 10 Meters, Teflon jacket.
Litz wire is a special type of multistranded wire or cable used in electronics to carry alternating current (AC) at radio frequencies. The wire is designed to reduce the skin effect and proximity effect losses in conductors used at frequencies up to about 1 MHz. Skin effect is the tendency of an alternating electric current (AC) to become distributed within a conductor such that the current density is largest near the surface of the conductor and decreases exponentially with greater depths in the conductor.
Nothing will be as thin and flexible as this wire - but it sure can carry current! You could use this in wearables or very fine assemblies where weight and bulk is at a premium. The covering for the wire is Teflon so it's good from -80 to +105 degrees C
Comes in a 10 meter put-up. It is very fine wire and calls for a steady hand to strip the end without accidentally chopping off the whole thing.
Rated for 30V, and 90mA.
Available in the following colors: Black, Red, White. (Sold separately)
