VGA to HDMI Converter (UNIDIRECTIONAL)
This tiny box can convert video signal into HDMI video. We use this product for connecting our old laptops that carries VGA video signals to our TV’s that features HDMI input only. This unit also features a 3.5mm audio jack for input to be sent via HDMI to your TV. Since this unit is upscaling the video signal, you might need to use the provided Mini USB B cable to supply power for the converter.
HDMI can send or receive audio and video signals. This device merges both source from the VGA video and 3.5mm audio to offer the user to connect to their tv and utilize the full potential of HDMI.
From our testing we noticed the quality was average with occasional noise and red spots. We wouldn’t recommend using this product unless it was for a simple troubleshooting or converting to HDMI for quick visual aid. Audio seems to be unaffected offering high quality music reproduction without any static noise.
We highly suggest purchasing this product if you need it for checking your device that doesn’t have a HDMI port to access files from it or for situations where quality isn’t a factor!
