AC to DC 5v Voltage Regulator Module 7805
The famous 7805 5 volt regulator circuit is a great introduction to electronics. Now in a preassembled board you can use this mini device to convert AC voltage into DC regulated 5v output. Depending on the amperage of the transformer selected, you have a 5v power supply unit that offers 5 male headers for breadboard or sensors to connect to. There is also a terminal connector available on the right side of the 7805 IC (label should be facing you).
