Product instructions:
There are seven buttons on the panel, respectively for up, down, left, right and type keys and hot keys o, p.
The up and down keys are used to adjust the directory and change the model. The left and right keys are used to move the cursor to select the item to change. The input key is used to change machines and execute test commands. Open and close the battery cover on both 5 #1.5v batteries. Press Enter for more than 2 seconds to turn on the device. The current battery voltage is automatically displayed when the device starts. If the battery is too low, replace the battery.
Power on: Press Enter for more than 2 seconds to power on.
Shutdown:
1 Press Enter in the OFF directory to shut down the device immediately.
2 Press Enter to enter any directory. Press Enter to hang up after 10 seconds.
3 Automatically shut down after 60 seconds of no operation
Shortcut 1: Press 0 key for quick shutdown key (Type 06)
Button 2: Press p key to repeat the self-test and reset buttons.
Locking:
Using handle, lock device in tester. Perform test. Release handle to remove device.
The above applies as well when using SOP socket, except device is inserted in SOP socket.
Important:
Manual input for a four-digit IC model (e.g. 74HC4538) is not available. Therefore, its testing cannot be conducted. Additionally, this tester is not capable of automatically identifying a faulty IC.
