The AN8008 is a small digital multimeter that packs a punch, probably one of the best multimeters at the price range that offers True RMS.
In AC signals, you usually need their root-mean-square (rms) value. A true-rms value indicates the real energy in a waveform, regardless of the waveform's shape.
