SI7021 Temperature & Humidity Sensor for 3.3VDC Micro-Controllers
This is an excellent low-cost solution for users who want to read and record humidity and temperature for their projects. This sensor is very accurate and super simple to interface with any 3.3VDC logic level micro controller. This board runs on I2C protocol allowing you to connect this device with anything else that runs on I2C. All you have to do in software code is address this device when you want to retrieve data from the sensor! This board uncomplicates your life as it has a 4.7kΩ pullup already integrated onto the board.
Note: This device can get damaged if introduced to water, we recommend wrapping this board in Teflon to prevent any damage to the sensor onboard. If you have multiple devices on the I2C line you may want to remove the solder in-between the two resistors to disable the pullup resistor.
Easier to wire on the Arduino Uno; Simply connect VCC to 3.3vdc and GND to GND. Then proceed to connect SDA and SCL In the ports above pin13 and GND. (only on Rev 3+)
