MPU9250 and BMP280 10DOF Breakout Sensor
This breakout board has 10 Degrees of Freedom, you have access to (x,y,z) gyroscope, (x,y,z) accelerometer, (x,y,z) magnetic field and atmospheric pressure. This board operates at 3v however you can supply 5v thanks to the integrated low dropout regulator. This board can send data to your microcontroller via I2C or SPI (data out is 16-bit). It is tiny and accurate so you can start measuring position and altitude easily, just depends on your coding skills.
