5-24VDC Non-Contact Liquid Level Detector Sensor/Switch with Bracket
This unique module is designed to be mounted on any surface you want. Using some screws you can mount the bracket onto any metal surface or alternatively you could add double side tape on either the top or bottom part of the sensor. The middle section is where the water level is read from. Great product if you want to make an automated tank that will self-fill to a limit or self-drain.
Microcontroller Usage:
The three pinouts at the end are for VCC, signal and ground. We recommend operating the sensor at 5vdc with a 10kΩ resistor in-between VCC and signal when connecting to any microcontroller. Use analog port on your microcontroller, as this system will act like a potentiometer and requires a voltage divider circuit.
Switch Usage:
To use this device as a switch you can supply up to 24VDC in the first port that is colored red, the output voltage will come out of the middle output port that is colored yellow. Connect Ground to your battery circuit or leave it unconnected for a normally open switch.
