Super Accurate Range Finding Breakout Sensor - VL53L0X
This breakout board has the smallest range finding sensor we could get our hands-on. This range-finding sensor can measure a range of up to 2 meters and does not have a nearby distance limitation like the ultra-range finding sensor which has a limit of 2cm. We recommend using this sensor for ranges less than 1.5meters as any further and you could be susceptible to noise from reflecting objects. This range finder uses infrared light to send a pulse, the receiver will wait for the wave to reflect on the object and return to the receiver to calculate the time for the return signal to estimate a distance. This process can be done as fast as 30ms, offering a compact, accurate and super quick range finder. You can receive distance readings using 3.3v digital I²C interface.
