3A Rated Current Sensor for Arduino Microcontrollers
Do you have a project that requires current sensing, running off a battery and want to know how much mAh battery pack you want to order? This product will essentially help inform you of your current consumption to whatever device you interface with this board with. This product uses a MAX471 Op-Amp to detect current, the MAX471 has an internal 35mΩ current-sense resistor and measures battery currents up to ±3A.
This device typically operates from 3V to 36V, and draws less than 100µA while idle.
The module is also supplied with 2 screw terminal and 0.1" pitch headers (requires soldering).
