This breakout board is designed for raspberry pi enthusiasts that love to make their own creative projects using the raspberry pi. This board comes with a 5V to 12V DC-DC step-up circuit giving you access to not only 3.3V and 5V from the raspberry pi but also 12V from the board itself! Now there’ll be no need for external power supplies to power stuff like a 12V motor, a cooling fan or maybe even a mini robot. The step-up circuit is fairly small therefore giving plenty of room to implement your own circuits.

In order prolong the lifetime of the components and to save power, the 12V supply can be turned off using the switch, and to make life easier, the LED right beside the switch will indicate if the circuit is powered or not. This board is designed using simple components such as resistors, capacitors, diodes, etc. so even a newbie can assemble it!
