Dual Micro SD Card Reader with Toggle Switch for Raspberry Pi
This odd looking product is a really good idea. If you have projects where you need extra storage and multiple OS, you have two solutions to fix this. One is to install multiple OS onto one SD card using berryboot, the limit is the SD card size itself. The other solution is to program a separate MicroSD cards with the OS you are working with.
The second option seems like a pain if you have to remove the MicroSD card from the pi constantly to switch to the other SD card.
This adapter alleviates the issue mentioned above. Simply plug in the PCB board into the MicroSD card reader port of your PI or PC and the two sided board has a microSD female adapter to insert your microSD cards on each side. When you want to use the first SD card, simply flick the switch to toggle between two SD cards.
Never again do you have to use your finger to pry the MicroSD card from the PI as this adapter board can be easily switch to any MicroSD card you have inserted on this board.
Note: A on the toggle switch is associated with the SD that has the microSD traces to plug into the PI or label TF-A, B is located on the side with the IC or labelled TF-B. This unit will also work on Raspberry Pi and PC!
