GY-ADUM1201 Serial Digital Magnetic Isolator Sensor Module
The ADuM1201 is a directional dual channel digital isolator based on devices which combines high speed CMOS with monolithic transformer technology and offers superior performance over alternative devices such as optocouplers. iCoupler devices do not use LEDs and photodiodes, so there are no design difficulties typically associated with optocouplers. The simple iCoupler digital interface and stable performance features eliminate the problems of current transfer ratio uncertainty, nonlinear transfer functions, and temperature and lifetime effects typical of optocouplers. No external drivers and other discrete components are required. With comparable signal data rates, iCoupler devices consume 1/10 to 1/6 the power of optocouplers.
