ENC28J60 RJ45 Ethernet Shield for Arduino Nano
With this module in your possession you’ll be able to finally connect your Arduino Nano to the internet. Simply plug your Nano directly on to the board and you’ll be ready to go in terms of hardware connections. This setup makes your final product look compact and very practical. If, however, your application makes use of a different controller board, know that this module is not exclusive to the Nano. Since the 28 pin ENC28J60 Ethernet controller communicates using an SPI interface, with the proper connections made, you can interface with most micro controllers. Thanks to the RJ45 connector on the board, you can establish a reliable wired connection to the internet.
As for the software, there are quite a few libraries you may choose from to program your Arduino either as a server or a client. Here are a few : UIPEthernet, ETHER_28j60 or Ethercard.
