Key features and PIN function
The ARD-621 with SN65HVD230 can be used in a high interference environment. The device has the ability to send and receive at different rates, and its main features are as follows:
Fully comply with ISO11898 standard;
High input impedance, allowing 120 nodes;
Low current standby mode, typical current is 370μA;
Signal transmission rate up to 1Mb / s;
Thermal protection, turn on the fail-safe function;
Bus with anti-torque interference protection function;

Differential receivers have extensive anti-common mode interference and electromagnetic interference (EMI) capabilities.
Operating mode and control logic
The SN65HVD230 has three different operation modes: high speed, inclined plane and waiting. The control method can be realized through the control pin. Figure 2 is a typical application diagram in the SN65 HVD230 CAN bus system.
