Atmega 328P Microcontroller Board Compatible with Arduino Uno R3 - with original Atmega328P chip.

This board can be programmed over a USB B to A cable using the Arduino IDE. Just plug in the board, select “Arduino UNO” from the board menu and you’re ready to upload code. A cable is included .

The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328PU Chip. It features 14 digital input/output pins which six of can be used as a PWM output, along with six analog inputs, a 16 MHz low profile crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. It contains everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with an AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.

What makes the Uno so unique is the fact that it does not require an FTDI driver chip. Instead, it features the ATmega16U2 programmed as a USB-to-serial converter which makes it very easy to use and upload new programs.

Unlike the inexpensive Arduino Uno compatibles which use the CH340 Chipset that you can find on some online retail websites, this one offers no hassle or additional drivers to run. An excellent choice for beginners so they invest themselves much more in the coding and less on the driver configurations.

Specifications:

  • 14 digital I/O pins (six of which provide power-with-modulation output)
