The TRF-310 is a 12 volt center tap open style transformer with a primary voltage input of 120VAC/60Hz and can be used for small electronic projects and designs.
With a center tapped secondary they are ideal where the output needs to be rectified to DC.

TRANSFORMER VCT DEFINED
VCT stands for Voltage Center Tapped. The center tap provides a third wire connected to the electrical middle of the secondary winding wires. The total rated voltage is available between the two outside secondary wires.
One half (1/2) of the rated voltage is available from either end of the secondary winding wires to the center tap wire.
For example, the TRF-310 has 6V on each side.
