These open frame Center Tapped Transformers are bestsellers to schools combining versatility with low cost for small electronic projects and designs.
The center tap (0V) provides a third connection to the electrical middle of the secondary winding. One half of the rated voltage (12V) is available from either outside end of the secondary connections to the center tap connection for flexible power supply designs. The total rated voltage (24VAC) is available between the two outside secondary connections.
