It also has a lens that allows the light to refracted into a cross-hair shape that can be adjust for focus. The cross beam has an emitting angle of 48° resulting a smaller distance when the diode is closer to the object.

These common-anode displays feature 4x 7-segment digits and one decimal point per digit. The LEDs have a forward current of 30mA. Connect Ground to pin 12,9,8 and 6. Insert 2.5VDC into pins 1 – 5, 7,10,11. See schematic to view pinouts. Pin 1 starts from the left with the first digit.
