Side Emitting IP65 Waterproof White LED Strip - 12VDC 5M
In addition to being powerful and glow intensively, these leds are mounted in a way that they emit light from the side only! They have a density of 60 LEDs per meter, run at 12VDC and consume around 72W maximum per strip. This strip is waterproof (IP65 certification) with a white background color. There's an adhesive strip on the back which should stick to most clean surfaces. The LEDs in these strips have a wavelength of 405nm giving them that ultra violet color.
If you want to dim the strip, use an NPN or N-channel MOSFET (although the big powerful kind is good for a large strip) and PWM the input.
You can cut and shorten the strip for your taste with ease, there are cut-lines every 5cm (3 LEDs each). Solder to the 0.1" copper pads and you're good to go.

Note: The LED Strips, must not exceed 5 meters, when used in a direct curent series circuit.
The package only includes the LED strip. Power supply and connectors are not included.
Connection is easy. The LED strip comes with two bare wires already attached to it. Connect the bare wires to the 368-ADA (not included) screw terminal, which in turn connects to our DC-1210.0 (12V power supply not included). See the connection diagram.
If you need a dimmer, you can use our LED-STRIP-DIM1 (not included).
Of course, you can use your own power supply (make sure it's 12V and at least 6 amps, the one we recommend is 10A).
