LCD-MOD-13 16x2 LCD Display with I2C backpack - White on Blue
Typically this unit has 16 pinouts that requires a breadboard to interface with any microcontroller and a 10k potentiometer to adjust the contrast value to reduce the backlight and view the text.
However with the addition of the I2C Backpack pre-soldered you only need to connect four pins to your microcontroller. You do not need to worry about the 16 pin cables that need to be connected and the unit comes with a potentiometer to adjust the Contrast. You also have a jumper for two pins to enable or disable brightness.
We have also attached in attachments the library and Arduino sketch required to get it up and working.
Simply copy the library folder that is extracted into Arduino/Libraries and open the code file from your desktop!
