USB TYPE C Female Socket, with through-hole pins and SMD pads.

This is a female type C socket that has through-hole pins and SMD pads to solder, along with some mounting pegs for structural support. 

In the diagram displayed below the A references the pins that are SMD and B references the pins that are Through-hole technology.

You can either choose any one of the pins, i.e if you solder either SMD or through-hole pins you can connect your male type C connector in only one direction. If you need directionless connection, you must solder both SMD and through-hole pins. See the DataSheet Attached (we stock an equivalent to Amphenol).
