The 48-521 is a Lighter Socket To Binding Post Adaptor that plugs into the automobile cigarette lighter or accessory socket.
Binding posts make for easy attachment of bare wires for hundreds of 12-14V devices. Binding posts are color coded red (+) & black (-) & also accept banana plugs spade lugs, etc. The adaptor is fused with a 10 amp fuse for safety & in case for safety & in case of overload.
