Waterproof Momentary Pushbutton Switch with Green LED Ring 6V 22mm
These illuminated waterproof chrome-plated metal pushbuttons give a professional appearance to any project. When you press it the 'normally-open' contact shorts to the common contact and the ‘normally closed’ contact button opens.
The contacts will stay in this position momentarily until the button is released.
Waterproofing is provided with a rubber O-ring.
On the front of the button is a flat metal actuator, surrounded by a plastic LED ring.
On the back there are 3 contacts for the switch; C (common), NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) and 2 contacts for the LED ring (+ and -).
Connect 6VDC to the LED ring to have it light up nicely, there's a built in resistor!
The switch and LED are separated, so you could wire the LED to turn on when the button is pressed or have it turned on independent of the switch, as you wish!
