Motorized Brass Ball Valves are effective tools for controlling water-flow by simply sending an voltage to either red or blue pin to toggle the valve to open or close at certain time intervals.
This product has three contact pins, yellow is designated as ground. Applying 12VDC to Red cable will cause the valve to open and removing the voltage from red and applying to blue wire will cause the valve to close. You musn't supply voltage to the red and blue cable at the same time, as it may damage the device.
The valve, once constant power is provided to either red or blue pin will take 6 seconds to lock into full position. You could calculate the timing for the power to be supplied to this unit and have the valve rest at specific degree for accurate water flow dispensing.
