12 VDC Cabinet Door-style Solenoid Electronic Lock
This Cabinet Door-Style Solenoid is essentially an electronic door lock. This unit has four threaded screw holes to mount onto any surface securely. When powered with 12v the latch bolt will retract allowing you to open any door that this module is fasten to. When this module is not powered the latch bolt will remain outwards obstructing any object it may hit and effectively closing any door that this module is fasten to.
It is recommend you use a power transistor and a diode to drive this solenoid, check this diagram from arduino.cc to understand how to wire this module with any circuit:
