One Channel Relay Module for 5vdc Microcontrollers
This handy 1-channel relay interface board can be controlled directly by a wide range of microcontrollers such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, AVR, PIC, ARM, PLC and etc.
Holding the relay module with the pins toward you, the left most pin is labelled S for digital signal input, middle and last right pin are for 5V DC power and ground respectively. To activate or de-activate the relay you are required to constantly send either a high or low digital signal to toggle and maintain the state. Click on attachment tab for Arduino example code.
Note:
This product is designed for switching high loads, however if you do attach an inductive load such as a motor there is a chance your microcontroller will reset. To solve that problem you may want to check out AM-133-OP, the same product with an optocoupler included.
If you are not planning to use inductive loads to switch, this product will work just fine.
