SOL-100 Push-Pull Solenoid – 12VDC 5N

This 3cm x 1.2 cm x 1.5 cm solenoid has a push newton of 5N. Normally pulled in, the entire shaft when extended including the nut equates to 18mm. This device can run from 12-24VDC. The body is an open frame design with no housing or mounting brackets. When powered 24V the shaft will extend and remain until voltage has been shorted, instantaneous extending and retracting. Applications: door projects or interfacing with microcontroller (Arduino). Please make sure to have appropriate power transistors, relays and free wheel diode when connecting solenoid to a circuit.
