This flat coin shaped motor operates at 3 to 3.3VDC and vibrates when you supply power. The motor is not polarity sensitive, meaning you could connect the battery either way and it would behave the same. This product is excellent for hepatic feedback on any project you may have in mind. The provided leads are short and will require some 24-26 awg cable for extension or creating the pads on your board a bit closer. The cables extend to about 1cm. The provided black rubber will help keep noise down and when touching the motor after long usage, this particular product won’t heat up.

This Piezoelectric element can turn any mechanical energy into electrical energy (AC). For this reason, you can use it as a knock or tap sensor. You can also implement it in any of your Arduino projects by connecting it to the analog inputs of the microcontroller (see link for more details). You can feed the sensor AC voltage as well. This (coupled with the right frequency) can turn the element into a buzzer or speaker. You won’t need to worry about soldering any leads as they come with pre-soldered red and black wires. Note that this sensor in particular has a diameter of 12mm.
