DFR0523 Gravity: Digital Peristaltic Pump

Gravity: digital peristaltic pump is a new product developed by DFRobot. This is a new member of our water quality monitoring devices. It is an actuator for the liquid system. DFRobot peristaltic pump integrates a PPM motor driver on the pump, this is a Gravity interface (PH2.0-3P) motor driver. The control signal is compatible with standard servo motor, you can use Arduino, Raspberry Pi, micro:bit and other kinds of microcontrollers to control its direction and flow speed. The tube in the pump head is made up of BPT material, which is anti-acid and long life. Peristaltic pumps are a kind of positive displacement pump used for delivering small amounts of fluid. The fluid is contained within a flexible tube fitted inside a circular pump casing. When the rotor rotates continuously, the fluid in the tube will be squeezed and deliver to the other side. In this way, the liquid flow rate can be easily accuracy controlled.

FT90R 4.8-6V 360 degree Continuous Rotation Digital Servo

FT5313M High-Torque Digital Servo

The FT5313M is a standard-size digital servo from FEETECH that can deliver over twice the torque of our standard-size servos with plastic gears thanks to its powerful coreless motor and all-metal gear train (if you need even more torque than this, check out the FT5121M, which has identical dimensions to the FT5313M). The output shaft is supported by two ball bearings for reduced friction. The FT5313M works with standard RC servo pulses, providing a running angle of approximately 120° over a servo pulse range of 900 µs to 2100 µs. Many hobby servos can be operated beyond their standard ranges by using a wider pulse range, but please note that in our tests, we were not able to expand the range of the FT5313M significantly beyond 120° (the servo did not respond to pulses below around 800 µs or above around 2100 µs, providing an approximate expanded range of 135°). This servo has a 10″ (25 cm) cable that is terminated with a standard JR-style connector, which is Futaba-compatible.

As with most servos, the pulse range can be expanded to achieve an expanded operating angle, but the limits of this are not specified by FEETECH. (In our tests, we were able to get an expanded range of approximately 180° over a pulse range of 650 µs to 2500 µs, but as this is not part of FEETECH’s official specifications, it is possible different units will behave differently in this regard.)
