These illuminated waterproof chrome-plated metal pushbuttons give a professional appearance to any project. When you press it the 'normally-open' contact shorts to the common contact and the ‘normally closed’ contact button opens. The contacts will stay in this position using a latching mechanism until the button is released. Waterproofing is provided with a rubber O-ring. On the front of the button is a flat metal actuator, surrounded by a plastic LED ring. On the back there are 3 contacts for the switch; C (common), NO (normally open) and NC (normally closed) and 2 contacts for the LED ring (+ and -). Connect 12VDC to the LED ring to have it light up nicely, there's a built in resistor!
