TL Smoother Plus for Stepper Motor for 3D Printers(Upgraded)
The TL-Smoother is an addon module for 3D printer stepper motor drivers. This stepper motor plugin device is capable of removing the salmon skin artefact that is found in some printers that use the DRV8825 stepper motor driver. This artefact can also be found in some TMC stepper driver. The board provides flyback diodes (freewheeling diodes) for the motor outputs so that they are also protected against induction voltages in the unpowered state of the driver. this Module is the upgraded version of TL Smoother which normally has 4 diodes.
A 100mm cable that plugs into the stepper motor is included.
NOTE: May reverse the direction of the motor on Creality printers! Can be fixed by swapping the pins of the JST connector to match the connector of the other end of the cable
Features:
- 8 large packages (SMC) diodes provide better heat dissipation and can handle larger motors than small diodes.
- Reduce vibration, reduce noise, and make the results smoother.
- All boards use chip diodes, strong consistency, more stable signal and longer service life.
How to use: Connect this TL-Smoother module to the corresponding drive socket and motor of the motherboard(See Pictures attached).
