400P/R Incremental 6mm Shaft Rotary Encoder 5-24V ED
This Incremental Photoelectric Rotary Encoder - 400P/R is an industrial incremental photoelectric rotary encoder with aluminum shell and stainless-steel shaft. It generates AB two-phase orthogonal pulse signal though the rotation of the grating disk and optocoupler. 400 pulses/round for each phase, and 1600 pulses/round for dual-phase 4 times output. This rotary encoder supports max 5000 r/min speed. And it can be used for speed, angle, angular velocity and other data measurement. The output is NPN open collector
Cable layout 1: white=VCC, black=GND, red=A phase, green=B phase.
Wire colors may vary slightly, so there is another possible set of connections below.
Cable layout 2: Yellow = A phase, Blue = B phase, Red =Vcc power +, Black = power -
Note: Connecting either the A or B phase to Vcc will burn out the transistors, and output triode.
