Rotary Encoder Module for 5v Microcontrollers
This device features a knob as the input that will provide the position and direction, when the knob is moved a digital output is sent to 5v compliant microcontrollers. Recommended for stepper motors and servo motors control as a feedback systems. It can also act as a digital potentiometer. This unit does not come with the cap for the knob.
This rotary encoder has 20 fixed positions and can be identify when rotating by feeling a small pulses.
Connect CLK, DT, + and GND to get this encoder up and running on an Arduino Microcontroller.
