HA01 24V Lead Acid Battery Balancer
This battery equaliser is used when you when have two or more 12V batteries connected in series. It is used to keep the voltage of each battery the same. Over time, with each charging/discharging cycle, the battery voltage is will start to become unbalanced. Each battery will also have a different self-discharge rate. These differences will mean that eventually some of the batteries in the series may become overloaded, and others will become insufficiently charged. The voltage difference will increase each time the battery charge/discharge processes is repeated. This can eventually lead to premature failure of some battery packs within the battery series.
This battery equaliser will balance the battery voltages when it detects anything greater than 20mV difference between two batteries. It will shunt current from one battery (the higher voltage one) to the other battery (the lower voltage one). It does this until the battery voltages are almost the same. This will improve the battery performance and extend the batteries lifetime.
The HA01 battery equaliser can be used for 24, 36, and 48 Volt systems consisted of 12V batteries.
