Ceramic Fiber + Kapton Tape, Heat insulator for Heat-Blocks (3D printers)
This little pad is commonly used for heat blocks, as the ceramic fiber wraps around the heat block and the Kapton tapes insulates the heat from escaping. This will help in reducing the heating element by stabilizing the temperature of the block. It will also help reduce the time required to heat the block initially before every print.
It is advised to use a hobby knife to help cut the material and some additional Kapton tape to secure onto the block.
