Heated Block for MakerBot MK7 MK8 3D Printers
ThIS is an aluminium heat block that is MakerBot MK7 MK8 and PT100 compatible, an essential part for any DIY 3D printer projects. Use the M6 hole in the down centre to place your nozzle and extruder throat. As you may expect there is also a 6mm in diameter hole for your ceramic cartridge heater and three 2mm black hex screw. Two for tightening the cartridge into place and one for securing a thermistor to help you keep track of high temperatures on the hot end of the extruder.
