Filament Runout Detecting Sensor for 3D printers
This is a low-friction filament-runout-sensor that allows your printer to pause whenever you run out of filament until new filament has been fed into the machine. It is great for those who print overnight. In addition, it can also be used as a method to swap filament and colours. It has two 3mm mounting holes that are 20mm apart from each other and has a depth of 13mm. It comes with a one meter cable that connects the sensor into the controller board.
NOTE: Firmware modification is needed if your controller board does not support a runout sensor from the factory.
