Electrodes are designed to help facilitate electricity experiments.
The Worcester Circuit Board Kit contains all the components necessary to quickly construct a variety of circuits. This Worcester Board provides the basis for clear layouts of electrical circuits and reduces the number of connecting leads required. The main component is a base board fitted with cell holders and terminal posts.
This is a pH Test Paper Red Litmus, 100 strips per vial.
These Hoffman's clip are nickel plated screw compressor clamps.
This is for showing A.C. on an oscilloscope or meter or for demonstrating the use of a dynamo in lighting a lamp. This apparatus has a cycle dynamo mounted on a base. Two 4mm socket terminals are provided for the dynamo output, connected in parallel with an M.E.S. lamp holder and 2.5V bulb.
EISCO's Bridge Rectifier Box consists of four diodes connected in a bridge circuit used to convert alternating current (AC) input into direct current (DC) output. The unit features a clear circuit diagram as well, so students see the importance of diodes and how to rectify alternating current to direct current. Size: 13 x 8 x 5cm.
This activity set allows students to conduct activities to illustrate electromagnetism, induction and basic transformer experiments. This kit consists of a plastic base, a laminated iron core, mounting fixtures, and six coils protected in a heat resistant film. Topics covered include Lenz' Law, Faraday's Law, how iron cores increase magnetic field strength, and electromagnetic induction itself. This versatile piece of equipment can also be used to teach about how transformers used by power companies carry electrical energy.
This kit contains all the material required to build six complete motor models. Includes 12 magnets, six armatures, six pieces of mild steel yokes, six support bases, six support shafts, 24 connecting rivets, 12 split pins, one reel of 25 s.w.g., PVC tinned copper wire, two reels of cellotape, 300mm rubber tubing, and instructions.
This radiometer comprises a partly evacuated glass bulb about 70mm in Diameter mounted on a round base, containing at its centre a fine pivot which supports four light weight metal arms. One side of each vane is blackened , the reverse side is bright. When the light strikes the wings, it transfers the heat to each one, but not at the same degree.
