This lovely little display breakout is the best way to add a small, colorful and bright display to any project. Since the display uses 4-wire SPI to communicate and has its own pixel-addressable frame buffer, it can be used with every kind of microcontroller. Even a very small one with low memory and few pins available! The 1.44" display has 128x128 color pixels. Unlike the low cost "Nokia 6110" and similar LCD displays, which are CSTN type and thus have poor color and slow refresh, this display is a true TFT! The TFT driver (ST7735R) can display full 16-bit color using our library code. The breakout has the TFT display soldered on (it uses a delicate flex-circuit connector) as well as a ultra-low-dropout 3.3V regulator and a 3/5V level shifter so you can use it with 3.3V or 5V power and logic. We also had a little space so we placed a microSD card holder so you can easily load full color bitmaps from a FAT16/FAT32 formatted microSD card.

This proto-board is the PCB you always wish you had, but never realized it! We took the basic layout of a half-sized breadboard, extended it to the size of a mint tin and turned that into a beautiful PCB.

We've got 2.6mm thickness EL wire, with a orange coat, pre-cut and soldered to a standard quick-connect EL wire. It is made with the latest technology and twice as bright as 'standard' 2.3mm EL - running it at 1.5KHz/90V it emits 70 cd/m^2 or light and a half-life (50% brightness reduction) after 3000 hours of continuous use. Draws about 10mA per meter. The capacitance is about twice that of 'standard' EL, 11 nF/m so if you're using an inverter, it will drive only half as much high brightness wire as standard.

This proto-board is the PCB you always wish you had, but never realized it! We took the basic layout of a quarter-sized breadboard (basically, a 'tiny' breadboard plus power rails) and turned that into a beautiful PCB.

This Mini-B male/female extension cable features a male USB Mini-B plug on one end, and a bulkhead mountable Mini-B female receptacle on the other. The jack half has two mounting 'ears' with 4-40 screws installed, about 17mm apart. The ears are flexible so the holes don't have to be drilled very precisely. The screws can be put on from the back for 'reverse' mounting if the box thickness is a problem. The entire unit is about 12" long from tip to tip (with approx 10" cabling between connectors). Rated for high-speed USB 2.0 use.

This button is a momentary push button, when you press it the 'normally-open' contact shorts to the common contact. When you release it, the contacts open up again. The switch and LED are separated, so you could wire it to turn on when pressed or vice versa or whatever you wish!

These particular 3.5mm terminal blocks are our favorite: big enough for a range of wire gauges, easy to adjust with a screwdriver, and not too chunky. The only down-side is that they do not fit into 2.5mm spaced holes (they're 3.5mm spaced) - but they do fit in most perf/proto-board if you rotate them diagonally.
