This Industry-grade soil remote monitor intends for these applications of agriculture, it is mainly composed of 2 parts: 1. Remote monitor station with RS485: developed by Makerfabs, it converts the RS485 signal, which is usually used in agricultural field applications, to wireless connections WIFI (if there is) or Lora, or Bluetooth. 2. Industrial-grade Soil Sensor: unlike some other maker-level soil sensors that only output analog voltage that reflects the soil status/changes but not the absolute value, this sensor measures the soil parameters such Temperature/Moisture/PH/Nitrogen/ Phosphorus/Potassium.., with calculated true output, so users can get to know the real soil parameters.

Ultra-wideband (UWB) is a short-range, wireless communication protocol that operates through radio waves, enables secure reliable ranging and precision sensing, creating a new dimension of spatial context for wireless devices. Makerfabs ESP32 UWB module is based on DW1000, it acts like a continuously scanning radar, that precisely locks onto another device (called Anchor) and communicates with it, thus calculating its own location. Once the device is near another UWB device, the devices start “ranging.” Ranging refers to calculating the time of flight (ToF) between devices: the roundtrip time of challenge/response packets.

This is an MCU module that allows you to create Wifi/GPRS/GPS/BLE connections with your projects by combining an ESP32 and an A9G shield.
